Empowering Youth to Rewrite Their Story

Changing Narratives Mentoring Program

Changing Narratives Mentoring Program empowers youth to rewrite their story. Our program, launching January 2026, will guide girls ages 13-16 through six months of growth, mentorship, and leadership. With monthly themes, one-on-one guidance, and community projects, we help young women build confidence, discover their voice, and step boldly into their future.

Our Story

Changing Narratives was born from a vision to give young people the tools, guidance, and encouragement they need to see beyond their circumstances and imagine what's possible. As a mentor, counselor, and advocate, Genesis McNeil saw firsthand how many teens carry heavy stories of doubt, setbacks, and missed opportunities. I also saw their strength, resilience, and potential waiting to be unlocked.

This inspired me to create a safe space where youth, starting with girls ages 13-16 can find support, build confidence, and grow into leaders. With the help of caring mentors, dedicated board members, and community partners, Changing Narratives is more than a program. It is a movement to rewrite stories, spark new beginnings, and build brighter futures.
